Andrew started his life in the art world as a student at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, specialising mainly in ceramics. He decided that he wanted a stronger theoretical basis for his creative energy and to explore his interest in South Asia. Andrew was subsequently recruited by a well-established London gallery to handle their Islamic and Indian art with a particular focus on manuscripts and works on paper. Andrew authored two catalogues for the gallery before parting ways and setting up AeR Gallery together with Romain in 2018.
